This Privacy Policy explains what information SmileAI collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. SmileAI is an educational oral-health app — it is not a healthcare provider and does not store your data on your behalf as a covered entity under HIPAA.

Information we collect

Account information (name, email, hashed password), smile scan photos and their AI analysis results, your hygiene plan answers, brushing/flossing check-ins, chat messages sent to the AI assistant, and appointments you add.

How we use it

Solely to provide the app's features to you — generating your Smile Score, personalizing your hygiene plan, tracking streaks, and answering chat questions. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

AI processing

When AI features are enabled, smile scan photos and chat messages may be sent to a third-party AI provider for analysis. In Demo Mode, no photos or messages leave our servers.

Your choices

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
